Headteacher’s Blog

Friday 3rd November 2017:
We have had an amazing CREATIVE WEEK this week. The children have really enjoyed themselves, getting fully involved in all the different activities. Some of the fantastic 'Take 1 Picture' Art work is now on our Hall display and the 'Big Draw' drawings of natural objects are in the classrooms. Making music with 'The Junkman' was very popular, I'm sure we have some future drummers and guitarists in the making. The 'Big Sing' taught each year group a very inspiring song which they performed in our final assembly and I must say it brought a tear to my eye listening to them. It made me very proud.
By the end of today we will all have made our musical instruments ready to take part in a carnival parade around the school this afternoon. PHEW!
Of course we have also been slotting in our Halloween and Bonfire Night activities – so it just goes for me to say have a great Firework night this weekend and stay safe.
