WOW I cannot believe that we are at the end of T1 already – how can that be? Term 1 has been incredibly busy and this week we have finished with a flourish.
Harvest was so lovely, the children performed really well, much to the delight of the invited guests. On behalf of Porchlight I have been asked to thank you for your child’s participation and your kind donations – every penny is really valuable to the charities we support.
This week FS classes have enjoyed a trip to the Pumpkin Farm. Mrs Baillie reports that the children were a real asset and made us all proud; it was really delightful to see them returning clutching their pumpkins.
Today Y2 have their Native American Day and the children are really enjoying dressing up and taking part in the special activities.
Y1 have also had a great term, the particular highlight this week seems to have been the story of ‘Baba Yaga’
We also invited you all in for Parent Consultations this week, hopefully you were as pleased and proud of the children’s progress so far, as we are.
Have a great break and we’ll see you back on Monday 29th October for CREATIVE WEEK – Don’t forget to decorate your stars.
