This week has been our ‘Knowledge & Understanding’ week, with children having a fabulous time learning a variety of aspects of the curriculum including: Spanish; Science; IT and Eco.
We started the week with our ‘Spanish Day’, ‘Ola’ from all the children. On Tuesday the ‘Beebots’ and other technological devices were out and I must say the children were having a great time programming and coding. Wednesday we focused on Eco and how we can look after our planet and today is Science day, where each class is looking in depth at a scientist.
Of course added into the mix the FS children had an amazing day out at Tyland Barn and some of our Year 2 children represented the school fantastically well at the Recorder Festival! PHEW!
It has been really nice to see so many of you at Parent Consults, where we hope you have enjoyed looking at the great progress your child has made so far this year. The teachers are proud of the efforts the children have all made.
As you know next week is the last week before the Easter break, so watch out for all the Easter fun, including the Easter Hunt being organised by the PTA.
