It seems that this week more normal April weather has resumed, which, whilst a bit inconvenient hasn’t stopped the teachers getting out and about. This week Hedgehogs had a great day at Forest School, making an imaginary spider’s web out of wool, whilst all the Foundation Stage classes have been making full use of their outdoor area.
KS1 classes have been outside doing PE; yesterday I was watching Elephants class doing some great cool down stretches and balances and Dolphins were outside showing great team work in Games.
I am always conscious about how lucky we are to have such great school grounds and outdoor play facilities here at Riverview.
It hasn’t all been outside FUN, we have also been busy inside. Yesterday Year 1 kicked off their Class Assemblies to parents with Koalas doing a very enthusiastic presentation of their learning, which they are clearly enjoying very much! Watch out – the other Year 1 classes assemblies are yet to come!
