We hope that you enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend with the fabulous weather. The resulting 4 day week seems to put us all out of sync, with Tuesday appearing to be Monday and so on. We have, however, still managed to cram a whole lot of activity into those 4 days.
Year 1 really enjoyed their fantastic trip to Wingham, the children were so excited and arrived back full of stories about all that they had seen and done. Elephants Class Assembly is great fun and I’m sure their parents arriving to see it this afternoon will thoroughly enjoy it. I particularly liked the ‘Galapagos song ‘.
Year 2 have started their SATs papers this week and have all tried their very best; we are all very proud of them.
As for Foundation Stage, they have been enjoying their current Fantasy Topic, with lots of active learning both inside and outside. Hopefully parents will have received the text regarding the change to the entrances at the start of Term 6, in preparation for Year 1, and have started to talk to children to prepare them.
