Today the school is a sea of red as we raise funds for Comic Relief. The children and staff have made a great effort and it has certainly set us up for a bright and cheerful day.
The windy weather has certainly been a challenging feature this week, particularly at Break times and Lunchtimes and especially for the Foundation Stage classes on their trip to Tyland Barn yesterday! However, despite the inclement weather the children, staff and parents all came back saying what a wonderful time they had had, with some great opportunities for outdoor learning. The children found looking for minibeasts and digging for worms particularly enjoyable – I’m told that wasn’t the case for some of the adults!
This afternoon Kingfishers will be doing their class Assembly for their grown-ups, which I’m sure they will really enjoy and I’m really looking forward to enjoying it too.
