So here we are at the end of Term 5 and we have finished with a fabulous ‘Knowledge & Understanding Week’.
I think yesterday (National Outdoor Learning Day) will be particularly memorable, purely for the fact that the whole school was outside in nature.
The Year 1 children had an incredible day at Wingham Wildlife Park and Year 2 entertained the neighbourhood with ‘The Big Sing’ on the field. But the thing that caused the most laughter and enjoyment was planting all of the flowers, vegetables and plants that your kind donations of £2 purchased.
Planting, caring for and nurturing plants and watching them grow, gives so many learning opportunities that the children will enjoy into next term; so to all of you who donated Thank you.
I will finish there by saying have a fantastic fortnight’s break – fingers crossed for lovely warm weather and we will see you all back on Tuesday 11th June.
