Christmas has certainly hit Riverview Infant school with a flourish this week.
It started on Sunday with the amazing PTA Christmas Fayre, which raised an incredible £3200; followed by Production rehearsals and the making of cards and calendars.
The children are incredibly excited!
It has all got me thinking about how important it is for our children to feel part of the school community, and how much they enjoy the times in school spent with you.
From supporting the PTA Christmas Fayre; to coming along to parent carousel; helping on a trip; a walk to the Library or Forest School, the pride on their faces when you are in school is priceless. The care and love they are putting into the things they are creating for you is a real pleasure to see.
So when you pop along to the Christmas Productions next week, don’t forget how much it means to your child to have you there.
