WELCOME BACK! Now that school is up and running I am re-starting my weekly Blog to keep you up to date with all the fabulous things going on in school.
Firstly, I have to tell you how delighted we all are at, how amazingly well the children have returned to school. They have settled really quickly into their new classes and have adapted to the new routines incredibly well. Teacher’s are reporting that they are very chatty, but that is no surprise when they haven’t seen their friends for so long.
The revised morning routine for KS1 is now also working very well and I am getting positive feedback from you all, that you prefer being able to drop your children at the classroom doors.
For me, one of the strangest things is doing assemblies virtually for the children, Miss Garrard and I are finding it quite disturbing seeing ourselves on the big screen in the mornings! I’m not thinking the BBC are going to be employing me anytime soon!!!!
Don’t forget to check your Class Dojo for information and use it to communicate with your class teacher, as this will be one of our main communication channels with you.
Finally, despite these unusual times we still have lots of exciting things planned for the children to enjoy over the next Terms, so Watch this space!
