Pupil Council

Article 12 of the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child states:

Children should have the right to express the views they have and those views should be listened to in anything that affects them.

At Riverview Infants School, the Pupil Council:

-gets us involved – education should be done  with us not to us.

-gives us the chance to talk about things we are happy and unhappy about.

-gives the school community good ideas from pupils.

-helps us feel that we are part of a team.

-helps keep us happy.
