Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information  

 

At Riverview Infant School we strive to support all children to enable them to achieve their best at school.

 

In order to do this successfully, many steps are taken to support our pupils through their learning journey.

 

Quality first teaching is essential; however for some children there are occasions when further additional support may be required .

 

We have a dedicated team who support children. Information regarding how we support pupils and the type of interventions we can offer can be found in our policy for SEN. There is also information on the Code of Practice.

 

Both of these can be found in the tabs below, but if you have a concern, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
